We introduce each piece to the audience by sharing some history about the composition and a few comments about how we connect to the music. These personal insights are often a surprise and delight to all of us– fellow musicians included, as you can see in the picture below where Eliot Heaton cracks up Sage Cole and Estelle Choi, along with the audience, before performing a movement of a Mendelssohn Quartet.
